SEEING SPOTS

Updated: Nov 23, 2020

Anybody who truly knows me is aware of my love for vintage fashion!

The thrill of the hunt is part of the fun- I absolutely love thrift stores and antique malls. It's such a great feeling to bring home that one-of-a-kind piece, wondering what past life it has lived.

Who's worn it?

Where has it been?

Was this item part of a major closet like mine?

Class is forever. Never underestimate the power of a simple, yet elegant dress.

And since fashion is subjective, the options are endless! Everyone has a different personal style, which makes wearing these pieces so fun. I love seeing how others showcase their own spin on vintage looks!

Because at the end of the day, you have to be comfortable and confident in the clothes you're in.

As with anything, there are a couple things we could live without...

With vintage, it's the delicate nature of the garment. You normally will have to dry clean a majority of vintage items depending on the make.

So, I cannot stress this enough- always check the washing labels! I've ruined many items by playing the 'oh it'll be fine in the wash' game.

Sometimes you'll get lucky and find thing you can wash. For those I still run them through a delicate cycle just in case! After many years of being around, anything can become fragile. Same goes for clothing, so take great care.

Most importantly, have fun!

As I said before and I will say many times more, confidence is key.

Key to pulling off the look and key to feeling truly comfortable and badass in your style!
